02/02/12: Sofia will leave her foster home today. This will not be her forever home after all. Sofia it seems is an incredibly fussy eater. She will not touch cat food but only fresh cooked meat etc. and rice. Verena wanted to keep her but she has 6 other siam-mix cats, and had to make the sensible decision that she could not afford for them all to want princess Sofia’s preferred diet! SO she is being adopted by a friend who will be able to spoil her completely. I await further news, but she seems to have completely landed on her paws.
18/01/12: It seems that Sofia may already have her forever home. For her foster Mum it seems to have been love at first sight! Her boyfriend for now will keep Sofia, and soon they will all live together, along with Verena’s own 7 cats! In the meantime she is being very spoilt, and she has very definite views about what she will eat: “Verena is asking what Sofia got to eat before because she does not eat cat food… up to now only cooked chicken with rice, tinned tuna and minced beef… almost all but no cat food…??? ;o)”.
