Ellie – An Abandoned Sweetheart

May 21, 2013 – 12:20 am | 25 views

21/05/13: Ellie has had a tough 10 days since I last posted about her. She ate ok for a few days and then started to vomit her food, we think as a reaction to the antibiotics. I was so worried that I moved her to a small rescue home where the owner had better food and medicine options and a lot of experience of problems …

04/11/11: Yesterday 2 more photos of the boys arrived from Martina in Germany. They are loving the very trendy cat den, and I am too, so much so that I am getting tempted!!! Martina visited them a few days ago to do the 2-3 week check and all seems absolutely fine: “Both are absolute identical twins, they have a diffenrent coloured collar since they arrived because the parents would not know who is who without that…;o) both became bigger and are so beautiful ! they love the children there, with the dog ( from Greece ) there is no problem too, the cats are the boss…they live in a big house ( 3 floors ), mum is a docotor, daddy an achitect…all is really fine there!!”

12/10/11: Now I have the first pictures of these 2 (now called Neo and Jack) in their new home! All is very well with them and they look extremely close together. We did have a little scare the morning of their transport to Germany and one of these naughty little boys went missing but now we definitely have a happy end, and I LOVE their wall den!! So I have news about Teddy and Tiger. They are now called Neo and Jack. First there was a little problem with the dog. He started to hunt Neo and Jack but both are courageous little boys and they showed the dog what will happen if he doesn’ t chill down. Stefanie is sending regards to the Spanish foster mum.

10/08/11: Teddy and Tiger now have their forever home waiting in Germany. They will go together to live in a lovely big house with a lovely big garden, and live with a doctor (Mum) and an architect! I have a feeling these 2 lovely boy will want for nothing. Their Mum has already asked what they like to play and eat, and what places they like to sleep in! If everything goes to plan they will be on our next scheduled transport to Germany on August 27th, ready to begin their new life. This is what Mandy (their foster Mum here) has written about them:

“They love playing in the tunnel which is a long fabric tunnel with holes in, so one gets in and sticks head out the top and the other one sits on the outside and bats his head. They also used to sleep in the tunnel, until the weather got so hot. Also they love the fun scratching posts which have a box at the bottom to play inside, and a climbing bit on the top. All our cats sleep all over the house, Teddy and Tiger are usually on the bed or on a rug on the floor. They are ALWAYS together. If one comes in through catflap and the other doesn’t follow within about a minute, he will go back out and start miaowing around for him. They have lovely soft natures, they get on well with all the other cats and don’t fight or growl at anyone. They are truly twins and difficult to tell apart. Teddy is the tiny bit more outgoing of the two (wider stripes and spots as well), Tiger is a little bit more shy (very narrow stripes). These are lovely boys and their new owners will love them to bits.”

AND below are the latest photos of this gorgeous pair. They are SO alike their new owners are going to have fun telling them apart!

30/06/11: Time to meet Teddy and Tiger, 2 very cute brothers, currently at the San Animal Santuario, near Lorca. There were originally 4 of these gorgeous kittens there, but 2 of the litter have found homes locally. I am now putting Teddy and Tiger through my re-homing process, and I will looking to keep them together as they are now over 4 months old and a very close pair. Their mother was a street cat and they were handed in at 5 weeks old so are now very sweet, tame and friendly, and as they are currently living with lots of other cats, AND have had some contact with dogs, they should fit in happily in any loving home.
