Finding good homes for the more tame Almerimar stray cats and the little kittens was one of my main aims in getting involved with this whole project. Some of the stray cats out there are not feral at all, but are recently abandoned pets with little knowledge of how to find food and take care of themselves. I know this from experience as both of our beautiful black cats (Mori and Saidi) we rescued from the street as lovely people-friendly animals. In addition, the many kittens that are born wild in the port each year make lovely pets if they have contact with people at an early age.

You will see from the ‘‘Partners’‘ page that one plan is to find homes in Germany for our Almerimar strays working with an animal charity , but of course if anyone here loves cats and can provide a home, that will always be a better option for us and for the cat. Encontrar buenos hogares para adoptar y domesticar gatos y gatitos de Almerimar fue uno de mis principales objetivos al involucrarme en este proyecto y en su conjunto. Algunos de los gatos abandonados por ahí no son gatos salvajes, en absoluto, pero son animales abandonados recientemente con poco conocimiento de cómo encontrar comida y cuidar de sí mismos. Sé esto por la experiencia que he tenido con nuestros hermosos gatos (Mori y Saidi) que rescatamos de la calle. Además, los muchos gatitos que nacen silvestres en el puerto cada año hacen encantadoras mascotas si tienen contacto con las personas a una edad temprana.

Usted verá en la pagina “Socios” en la que una de las ideas es encontrar hogares en Alemania para nuestros Gatos de Almerimar, trabajando con una asociación de caridad para animales abandonados, pero, por supuesto, si alguien ama a los gatos, puede proporcionar un hogar, que siempre será una mejor opción para nosotros y para el gato. Mein Hauptziel fuer dieses Projekt ist es, ein schönes Zuhause fuer die zahmen streunenden und ausgesetzten Katzen und junge Kätzchen zu finden. Viele von den streunenden Katzen sind nämlich überhaupt nicht wild, sondern einfach nur ausgesetzte Tiere, die überhaupt keine Ahnung haben, wie sie Futter finden oder generell überleben koennen. Ich spreche aus Erfahrung, denn wir haben unsere beiden wunderschönen schwarzen Katzen (Mori and Saidi) von der Strasse gerettet und sie sind beide sehr zutraulich. Und zudem werden all die kleinen Kätzchen, die hier im Hafen geboren werden, zu wundervollen Hauskatzen durch den Kontakt von tierliebenden Personen, egal in welchem Alter sie auch sind.

Sie können in unserer Website “‘Partners’” sehen, dass es ein Plan von uns ist, mit einer Wohltätigkeitsorganisation für die ausgesetzten Katzen ein Zuhause in Deutschland zu finden. Aber selbstverständlich sind wir über jede Familie hier glücklich, die Katzen liebt und Ihnen ein friedliches Heim bieten kann.
