Gentle Girl Cats Eddi & Hatti

May 18, 2012 – 6:04 pm | 5 views

18/05/12: Time to meet Eddi and Hatti (9 months) who came to me from Murcia! This is way out of my normal area for re-homing but I could not ignore their plight or that of their mother Marli. All 3 were abandoned by their English family, and their neighbour who had taken them in had tried for months to find a local rescue to help …

Aldo Another Cool Cat

Submitted by on October 4, 2011 – 8:15 amNo Comment | 42 views

04/10/11: Almost a year after he travelled to Germany, I have my first photos of Aldo in his new home, AND looking VERY happy with his new friend! Maybe it is because cats like to sleep at lot anyway, but it is always these lovely relaxed, cuddled photos that I love. They seem such a good indication that a cat feels loved and secure. I was re-reading what I wrote last year, when I worried about not finding Aldo an home with brother Java, but I definitely need not have worried about him. He looks JUST fine! His Mum loves him and will never be parted from him!!!

22/11/10: Aldo is the last of the 5 Taberna kittens to feature on this blog. He is a gorgeous tabby with almost black markings, and also a lovely people friendly cat.

He like Java and Johnny travelled to Germany on the 5th of November, and the great news today is that he already has an adoptant, and will leave his foster home in the next few days.

At first I did want to try and find him a home with his good friend Java, but so many of the adoptants are looking for just one new cat, so, as both these boys are confident, relaxed cats, I decided they would be fine alone, and would make new friends easily. This is already proving to be the right decision. The important thing is always to get our cats settled as quickly as possible in permanent homes, and I am very happy that Aldo soon will be.

Enjoy the photos, firstly of Aldo in his German foster home, and then in early October here in Spain.
