Alstrays Book-Sale
Over 200€ GREAT!!! Well done to Pam for another great book sale last Saturday. 226,50€ was raised to help the stray cats here, which will be well spent.
Thank you from me for the hard work of Pam and all her helpers and to everyone who supported the sale by donating and buying books, CDs etc. and this is from Pam:
“Many thanks to all the people who turned up for the September Book Sale in Aid of the Almerimar Strays. Although it was wet and windy and we had to move our location into the passageway between the Tabacos and the Farmacia -the Book Stalls were very well attended. Also a big thank you to all the people who bought books to our Stall. We ended up taking over 220 euros -which will see a few more cats on their way to Germany and good homes. Thank you also to the many helpers who lugged the crates of books around and helped to sell the books. I think this was a record sale for us. We now look forward to the October Sale – which will be on the last Saturday in October.“
