18/05/12: Time to meet Eddi and Hatti (9 months) who came to me from Murcia! This is way out of my normal area for re-homing but I could not ignore their plight or that of their mother Marli. All 3 were abandoned by their English family, and their neighbour who had taken them in had tried for months to find a local rescue to help …

02/11/11: Yesterday I was asking for news of Arthur for his foster home here, and today I received these great new photos. He seems a real cuddle boy and very happy in his new home with his lovely parents. Good for Arthur!!!

22/07/11: Arthur also travelled to a new life in Germany on July 9th. He went straight to an adoptant and settled in immediately (as these new photos show), after some rather tough months at the animal rescue. The problem Arthur had was that he wasn’t really a rescue cat and was used to much better things! His family were re-locating and asked Mandy to re-home him, so it was a BIG shock to find himself in a cattery pen. Mandy tried to integrate him with her tribe, but her own Tomcat took an instant dislike to Arthur, and Arthur, although not naturally aggressive, stood his ground, in the end inflicting injury to Mandy’s smaller trouble-maker.

Things were getting very difficult and stressful for Arthur, who desperately wanted human contact, and cried so much from his cage that he virtually lost his voice! We had asked Germany urgently for a foster home, but at the last minute an adoptant came forward. They were warned that Arthur was very cross and stressed and may need time to calm down, but Arthur knew at once that he was back on familiar territory i.e. a proper home, and was immediately back to his old friendly self.
