How well do you know cats? Did you know:

1. Cat’s have five claws on the front paw and four on the back paw apart from if they are a polydactyl, which means they have extra toes. Boston, USA has the highest rate of polydactyl cats, known as Boston Thumb Cats
2. The Egyptians used cats to protect crops from rats and vermin
3. The Egyptians often worshipped cats to such an exten they mummified them when dead.

You know, there are times when you have to part ways with your adorable kitties at home, and you might not be so keen on getting a cat sitter in case he or she touches your precious game consoles (even if it’s an old granny).

The following was found posted very low on a refrigerator door.

“Dear Dogs and Cats
The dishes with the paw prints are yours and contain your food. The other dishes are mine and contain my food.”

It is just over 3 years since we adopted Mori from the bins at the end of our street. At the time I was definitely not a cat person, having been brought up with dogs, but with Mori it was love at first sight.

Mori the big black cat is my very first Almerimar stray. We have had him nearly 3 years. Saidi is our little black female, and I was REALLY impressed by her athleticism, and as for Oscar, he is our now very big kitten of 9 months. Enjoy!!!

This really made me laugh. A greengrocer in Clapham, has been threatened with a suspension to his mail delivery service, if he doesn’t get his 6 months old kitten Elly under control! It appears that she playfully went for the mail whilst it was being posted and unfortunately scratched the postman’s hand.

Her owner has received a strongly worded letter:
