12/02/12: Taj and Mica didn’t get to travel to Germany last summer because unfortunately all the kittens at Matt’s went down with virus’s which they kept spreading round and round! We decided to give them some months to get over all of this at Matt’s before starting to re-home them. Now it seems that Taj and Mica have their chance of a forever home together at last. The home check is on Thursday and if all goes to plan, they will travel on the next transport 24.02. In the meantime enjoy some new photos. The first ones I took on Friday. Mica was off exploring so I only got 2 quick ones of her later in the afternoon, but Taj happily posed for me in the sunshine! Both Mica and Taj are close to 1 year old now and are very grown-up handsome/pretty cats!

02/07/11: When I first started AlStrays its aims were solely to help the port cats in Almerimar, and the litters of kittens that were frequently abandoned on the rocks here. We used to smile that all our Almerimar kittens seemed to come out predominantly black and white, and that out big ginger Tomcat, Chivers, was probably not up to the job, since we had no kittens that shared his glorious colour! Over the past year as Alstrays has been working across the Almeria region, I have seen kittens of all colours, and actually less black and white ones. It is therefore great to be able to post about a gorgeous little black and white boy Taj, and his pretty torty sister Mica.

Both found abandoned, now just over 3 months , they are currently being fostered by Matt, but should be on the August transport to Germany. They are both beautiful, tame, playful kittens.
