Daphne – An Aristocratic Cat

May 16, 2013 – 9:38 am | 42 views

16/05/13: Amazingly Daphne was found abandoned on the streets in Almeria by a friend of the Spanish lady who runs a private rescue home. I don’t think she had been outside for long as her coat was not in very bad condition, but she is another example of the attitude to animals here. I love all cats but very Persian faces like Daphne’s are not …

Candy & Zoe – Ginger Cat Sisters

23:00 Update: Now I have news of the girls in their new home: “Candy and Zoe have arrived safely in their new home. They already have been eating and drinking and have used the litter box. Candy is a little bit shy, she sniffs the environment and she can be touched, but when something is scary she is hiding under the table. Zoe is trusting more . She can be touched, is exploring the house, purrs und has already been sleeping on the couch with her new mum. The television was a great show for her! Unfortunately Zoe sneezed some times, but her new mum will observe it and go to the vet with her when necessary.” Apart from the sneezing. All sounds fine.
14/01/12: Candy and Zoe are 2 of a litter of ginger kittens that came into the PAWs cattery just about a year ago. It has taken a long time to be able to re-home them as apart from their brother Russ, this litter were all very nervous for months, and then with so many other cats to find places for, they seem to have been a little over-looked. I put their photos onto the German home pages just before Christmas, and both girls now have a lovely big apartment home together, and as I write this, they are off the transport and on their way to meet their new family. I wish both a happy life. I am sure they will be exploring all their extra space soon, and enjoying the freedom and attention of a proper home at last.
