Adorable Luca & MaryNury

May 22, 2013 – 11:00 am | 73 views

22/05/13: Now I have some lovely photos of these 2 in their new home.
26/04/13: Luca traveled to Germany on the 06.04 transport, originally destined for a lovely foster home there. However the week before the transport a family decided to adopt him, AND they have also adopted his little friend from Almeria, MaryNury who is also VERY sweet. I saw how nicely they played together …

04.03.12: More lovely photos came in today of a very contented little cat, but the latest news is that Josie is now suffering from a chest infection (possible pneumonia), which is not good. Anke has advised a change of vet, as Josie’s adoptant’s current one seems very anti antibiotics. She is now on some but should have been earlier. She isn’t looking too sick from these photos so I’m hoping for better news soon.

20/02/12: Latest news and photos came a couple of days ago. Desi has stopped sulking and is now using the whole house again, and at times even sitting close to Josie. Their Mum is happy that things are progressing slowly but well. Her only slight concern is that Josie still has her cold virus, and Desi is now taking medicine too. She is laughing about how they may need to re-decorate as Josie keeps sneezing all over one particular wall! Let’s hope she recovers completely soon. She seems to have found a very understanding, loving family! Enjoy the new photos.

27/01/12: More photos came in today and the latest news is that the 2 little witch girls have reach a truce, if not a friendship. Their Mum has bought a homeopathic remedy for Desi’s outrage, and ordered some Feliway to help de-stress her. This is the problem with these little ‘red’ females! In the meantime Josie continues to make herself at home and explore everything. She is running her new Mum ragged, making sure she does not hurt herself on anything. Then one day, after a lot of play, she actually fell asleep whilst upside down on the cat tree, and fell off! She still loves to sleep between her new parents, and they obviously adore her, even if Desi doesn’t yet!!!

25/01/12: Pretty little Josie like her sister found an adoptant quickly once her photos went up on the Germany homepages and she traveled to Germany on the 13.01 transport. She then had a small adventure as she forgot to get off of the transport in Bruchsal and so missed her cat taxi to her new home in Munich! This was of course a human error with the transport lists, but all was sorted and after a few pleasant days charming everyone (apart from Olli!) at Anke’s, Josie was found a new cat taxi and she finally arrived in her forever home to be met by new friend Desi who looks rather like Josie.
Josie has a little cold, probably from the transport, but has settled in well, and has been following her new parents around for cuddles, and even slept on the bed between their pillows. Desi is not yet too impressed by the new arrival, and in the first couple of days was on ‘hunger strike’! but I’m hoping the 2 will be good friends soon.

19/11/12: Lovely kitten Debra, whom I wrote about a few days ago was taken in by PAWs along with her pretty sister Josie. They were together with the other kittens in the garden pen at first, and then Josie found an adopt ant locally. Things haven’t worked out well however, and in the last few days Josie has been returned to the cattery, a little thinner but otherwise fine, and just as friendly and playful as ever. As the sisters don’t seem over interested in one another after their period of separation, I will look for homes for them together or separately. Enjoy the photos of another cute little kitten.
