Over the last few days, Martha has started to feel so much happier and more confident, that she no longer needs her special mouse bed. This was like a big shoe that she could get right into and feel safe.
When I visited her on Friday she was still in the small study, but it was Chibi, Erika’s little girl cat, that was sitting in the mouse bed, not Martha. Yesterday I found her in the living room, happily sitting on the sofa, and Erika told me that she had not slept in her mouse bed for 3 days. Maybe I won’t need to send it with her to Germany after all!
