18/06/13: This little lady is capturing the hearts of all who meet her as she is SO sweet and friendly. Now I have some lovely photos of a very relaxed, happy cat!
16/06/13: Daphne also traveled to Germany this weekend, where she is already much happier, following her foster Mum Jessika around like a little dog, sitting on her knee and even allowing herself …

16/06/11: These 2 have now been in Germany several months and are 8 and 10 months old and VERY happy. Today I had this great email from Anke and new photos!
“Holly the Mini-Cat is now nearly as big as Willow. She is a barefaced girl and very affectionate. Willow was getting a little bit thin till Nina noted that Holly eats the food of Willow. Nina was suprised because until now Willow was the one who ate the food of Holly :-)
Willow is a character. Very special. If she doesn´t want something she shows that directly! Nina courts Willow all the time because she loves her husband :-) .
The daughter Lilli loves her “best cats in the world” very much and Nina is suprised that she is such a fanatic cat mum.
They are very happy.”

26/03/11: These are the latest photos of this very sweet pair.

Anke says: “Holly is getting cuter and thicker day by day.”

Life is good for them, and it sounds as if little Holly is doing VERY well!

19/03/11: Now I have the latest photos of Holly and Willow from their new home.

“The adoptants are very happy. First Holly was a little bit cautious but now she is as wild as Willow. And Holly has grown and gained weight.”

18/03/11: I met Holly and Willow once just before they travelled to Germany, as they only spent their last 2 nights here in Almerimar with foster Mum Erika.

They both came from the home of a lovely Spanish couple Miguel and Isabel, who rescued both when they were found in the street by some children.

I met Miguel some time ago through the local protectora and he asked if I could help find homes for some of his rescue cats, as he already had I think 10 of his own!

These 2 quickly found a home together, but as Holly was only a baby their adoptants had to wait some weeks before she was ready to travel. Willow being 2 months older was much bigger and more confident when I saw them. She definitely has a very strong character and was happily stealing Holly’s meat so Erika had to feed them separately. Little Holly was more shy but a very cute girl.

These first photos are of Holly and Willow at home with Miguel and Isabel, and it is easy to see why their new family fell in love with them!

Holly and Willow flew to Germany with Erika on February 23rd, and these are some great photos that foster Mum Anke took of them just after they arrived.

The latest news is that:
“Willow is still a small witch. She wants to play all the time and everywhere :-) And Holly gets fatter and fatter every day :-) The Adoptants love both and are very happy!”

Anke told me that the little girl of the family adores Willow because she is so confident and cheeky and loves to play with her, and her mother who loves to ‘mother’ is VERY happy to have little Holly to care for!
