Ellie – An Abandoned Sweetheart

May 21, 2013 – 12:20 am | 23 views

21/05/13: Ellie has had a tough 10 days since I last posted about her. She ate ok for a few days and then started to vomit her food, we think as a reaction to the antibiotics. I was so worried that I moved her to a small rescue home where the owner had better food and medicine options and a lot of experience of problems …

Meet Benny & Olli Kittens

Submitted by on July 24, 2010 – 2:23 pmNo Comment | 14 views

Benny and Olli are now not strictly kittens in the true sense as they are approaching their first birthdays. They are however cheeky, fun-loving young boys, and loved by all who meet them.

They even managed to charm a German couple in the check-in queue at Malaga airport last weekend, and that was from the confines of their big travel box!

Born in Sept 09, they were found together fending for themselves near some holiday homes. We think they originally belonged to somebody because they have always been very sweet and people friendly. Somehow they managed to survive the winter and were given a space in the Mojacar cattery in May, when Rufus, Rusty and Robin travelled to Germany.

These two are VERY close brothers, and they love to be stroked and have kisses! They too are now in Germany, having flown over on July 17th with Julio. For now they are charming their foster Mum, until the right forever home can be found for them together.

I only met them briefly while they spent 2 weeks here with us in Almerimar. Jayne and Mike had the fun of fostering them here, and also the stress, as these rather big boys found a way to jump over onto the next door balcony. Not surprisingly, having spent over 2 months in a cattery cage, out boys were keen to explore.

Now I hope for a well-deserved happy life for this handsome pair. Enjoy the photos!
