16/05/13: Amazingly Daphne was found abandoned on the streets in Almeria by a friend of the Spanish lady who runs a private rescue home. I don’t think she had been outside for long as her coat was not in very bad condition, but she is another example of the attitude to animals here. Meet Calista Cat

This is Calista, a cute little Almerimar kitten, rescued by me from under a parked car 2 months ago, after she had been seen, frightened and alone.

She was only about 5 weeks old at the time, but seemed relatively tame, and has since blossomed into a friendly little cat at Erika’s, where she cuddles and plays with the other foster kittens.

Calista is almost ready to travel to Germany, and now that we have some great photos of her, I am hoping somebody will fall for this little girl soon!
