Adorable Luca & MaryNury

This is the rather gorgeous Russ, now about 8 months old, and the friendly star in a litter of still rather nervous kittens! He is into his 3rd month in a cattery and is definitely ready for re-homing.

Along with his 2 sisters and 1 brother, he was rescued a couple of weeks before Xmas by Pauline, who had been feeding them all outside. When an Irish man threatened them with poisoning, she managed to bundle these, at the time, rather feral kittens into her car, and an urgent search for a foster home began.

I contacted the San Animal Santuario near Lorca and they agreed to take them for the 4 weeks needed until our next transport to Germany freed up space for them in the PAWs cattery in Mojacar. This is where they have been since early January.

I am hoping for more friendly photos of the rest of the family soon, but for now Russ will go onto the German homepages and I hope for good news soon. He is certainly gorgeous and ginger cats are VERY popular in Germany.
