Poppy – A Sweet Little Cat

Submitted by on July 20, 2011 – 8:20 amNo Comment | 60 views

20/07/11: Poppy it seems is very happy in her foster home with one sweet cat to play with and lovely parents. This came from Anke last night: “Here are photos and news about Poppy. She is a very lovely girl. She likes to smooch but even more she loves to play. Poppy and Lucy are good friends and Poppy loves to sleep in bed on her foster dad Tobi.
Like you see on the pictures Poppy loves the tent. Foster mum Meli is looking for a second tent for Poppy as a gift when Poppy finds a new home some day.”

10/07/11: It really is time I introduced you to Poppy as she is currently on the transport to Germany. She was rescued as a kitten by an English couple, Adrian and Fran, who contacted me some months ago looking for a permanent home for her. They loved Poppy but really didn’t want the long-term commitment of another cat. Our plan was to wait until Poppy had an adoptant before sending her to Germany, as for the time-being she was happy and settled with them. Then Anke in Germany asked me for a lovely little female cat for one of her foster homes, who have a quiet little female of the same age. This seemed the perfect place to send Poppy while we looked for an adoptant for her.

I know that Adrian and Fran will miss her, and were very worried about the journey and upheaval for her. But I am sure I will have news and photos soon, of a happy, settled little girl. She definitely looks a little cutie!!!
