Saidi’s Grandkids Doing Well

This evening there was more good news about our Almerimar Kittens and the little ‘wild ones’ who also went on their way on Friday to Germany.

Lulu and Coreena were brilliantly fostered by Dawn and Nick here for 12 weeks, and I know they have been worried about how they are, and waiting for more news. Well from this email from Martina in Germany, we can all see that all is well:

Hi Sandra

The foster home of Lulu and Coreena wrote, that Lulu is sitting on her head and Coreena is sleeping in a jacket, while Beate is wearing it….. the kittens are so funny, Beate can’t stop laughing about them…

Jolanda from Switzerland wrote, Ferdi and Carmen are eating well, using their toilet and are a bit shy…but she did not write that they are untouchable … she thinks in a few days, they will be “normal” cats…

Great news and I am really pleased about Carmen and Ferdi, as they were still SO nervous of people having had hardly any attention since we took them up to the cat rescue over 3 months ago. Now it seems they are finally getting the love and care they need to give them a chance. I’m actually very relieved as I was starting to feel very guilty about picking them up off the street, where they were happy with their mother, and was wondering if I had done the right thing by them, particularly as they are, along with Coreena, my Saidi’s grandkids!

More good news from that great team of girls in Germany.

That`s wonderful news! Dawn and Nick will certainly be delighted. I think I am almost more pleased to hear about Carmen and Ferdi. Having spent a little time with them the last couple of weeks before they went I felt I could sense a difference in them. They were calmer when I was in with them and I felt sure, that given much more time with dedicated human company they would be fine. Clearly the girls in Germany vet the foster parents really well as this lady seems to be doing the trick.
