February 4, 2012 – 10:30 pm | 37 views

Smokey Boy is going to be the subject of my first big feature article as his is one of our more special rescue stories. He is a beautiful, gentle cat who went through a lot before finding himself the most perfect home, with 4 lovely cat friends and one of the best Mums a cat could have.

More on him in a later post, but for now enjoy these new photos of a VERY happy ending! AND a HUGE thank you from Smokey Boy to all of us who never gave up on him, and who helped to make this life possible.

He is a very lucky boy – I remember the terrible state his paws were in when Jean and George rescued him from the rocks – none of us thought he would survive – but he did and I am so glad that his story has a happy ending. I fostered him for a short time and he was a lovely friendly gentle boy who got on with my cats by ignoring them completely. We were very sorry to see him go but his initial suffering has all been so worthwhile – now he looks healthy and happy.
