Problems & Thank You’s

Just when I thought things were quiet on the cat front for a couple of weeks some new problems arose. Firstly Dawn and Nick who are fostering 2 of the Casa kittens had to rush back to the UK for a few days. I’d like to say a big thank you to Tracy for taking Lulu and Coreena in and adding them to the 3 she is already looking after. They are now back with Dawn and still being well spoilt I am sure.

On Saturday I then had the call from Richard about Kiri, our our latest rescue and I’d like to say thanks to Mary for grabbing the cage and going with Richard to pick her up, and to Pam for the donated bed etc. to make her comfortable.

Our latest problem is Smokey Boy. Gisela from the cat rescue home phoned me last night to say she was very worried about him and wants a second opinion, so I’m off to pick him up this afternoon and take him to Begona our vet. Thank you to Mary for picking up supplies this morning and to Pam again for donating more things to make HIM comfortable. More news on Smokey Boy later.

Now I’m off to make a cheesecake, because we have Gisela from the cat home coming tomorrow to visit all her kittens that we have been looking after, and I happen to know that she LOVES baked cheesecake. Wish me luck as I haven’t made one for years.
