Suri & Pompito’s New Life

15/06/12: Amazingly it is nearly a year since this lovely pair travelled to their new home in Germany. As you can see from this latest photo, they are now the best of friends!
25/10/11: Yesterday I received new photos of this lovely pair in their forever home, and realised that I still hadn’t introduced them to you on my blog. Suri is now about 3 years old and was found, lost and pregnant, earlier this year near a restaurant in Mojacar. Fortunately for her the owner cared about cats and fed her and her family, later found homes for all her kittens and finally contacted PAWs to help Suri. There was no room at the cattery, but I found her a place at Montse’s in Almeria, and there I THINK she met Pompito for the first time. He is one of Montse’s 2010 kittens and is now close to 18 months old. Both traveled to Germany on the August transport, but as it was only a few days before that Suri’s adoptants decided to take Pompito as well, we are not sure how well acquainted they were in Spain!

All is fine however in their new home. Pompito looks much more relaxed that in earlier photos. He was a little nervous for the first few days in his new home whilst Suri was her usual calm, friendly self. She and is looking fantastic too in her latest photo and Montse said that Pompito looks like a king in his!!!
