16/05/13: Amazingly Daphne was found abandoned on the streets in Almeria by a friend of the Spanish lady who runs a private rescue home. I don’t think she had been outside for long as her coat was not in very bad condition, but she is another example of the attitude to animals here. Time to meet another of Montse’s 2011 kittens that has now found a lovely home in Germany. He has a special new friend in his new home that you will meet soon! Woody is a lovely little boy, rescued by Montse as the adorable kitten in the first photo. When she first took him off the streets of Almeria howeve he rwasn’t quite so gorgeous but, as so many, was infested with fleas and worms! Now he is a handsome boy of about 10 months with a fantastic new life ahead of him.
