A Successful Fundraising Month
March has been a great month with 480€ raised to help more of our stray cats and dogs. This all started on March 6th with a good book-sale and then our first poker run in the evening, which Jan and Ingegerd Ljung (pictured with me) won by pulling out a total of 3 aces!

AlStrays Book Sale
A slightly quieter book sale today as there definitely seemed to be less people around the port. We did however still raise 120€ for the strays fund, which will cover the costs of re-homing 1.5 cats, OR castrating 4 feral cats, so it was a well spent few hours.

Successful Book Sale

Successful Fund-raiser
Well done to Pam for having another very successful book sale to put Almerimar Strays back in the black! Yesterday raised another 180€ to help more cats here in Almerimar.
We now have a great process for re-homing the tamer stray cats, and with great prices from local vets and money coming back from Germany for each cat homed, each cat is costing us less …
