Daphne – An Aristocratic Cat

May 16, 2013 – 9:38 am | 29 views

16/05/13: Amazingly Daphne was found abandoned on the streets in Almeria by a friend of the Spanish lady who runs a private rescue home. I don’t think she had been outside for long as her coat was not in very bad condition, but she is another example of the attitude to animals here. I love all cats but very Persian faces like Daphne’s are not …

The 3 Muskateer Kittens & Daiki

06/08/12: A few weeks ago I had the very sad news that little Daiki had had to be put to sleep because she had FIP. We were all very sad and also very worried that Portos may become sick too. Today the news is much better. Portos is very well, and his family have decided to adopt a new friend for him. Cheska will move to her new home on Friday to join him.
05/02/12: And now the latest photos below are of Portos & Daiki in their new home!
28/01/12: Today some more lovely photos arrived of Atos and Aramis in their new home. All is completely fine with them!
16/01/12: All 4 of these beautiful kittens arrived in their new homes on Saturday evening and their families loved them instantly! Aramis and Atos were busy exploring, and the little 7 year old girl was fascinated. Her parents were watching her, because she instantly wanted to pick the boys up and she needs to learn how to treat them, but all is fine. Portos and Daiki were very tame and friendly from the first and VERY loud! Their adoptants adored them from the minute they saw them. Enjoy all the new photos from both homes.

12/01/11: Latest news is that Atos and Aramis also have their forever home, with a lovely family who have a 7 year old daughter. Both parents had cats when they were children which is good, and the boys will have a nice big apartment to run around in.
08/01/12: The latest news is that Portos DOES already have his forever home, along with his little girlfriend Daiki! This little princess will travel with the boys on the 13.01 transport to Germany. She was also found on the streets of Almeria as a tiny kitten and was also lucky to have been taken in by Montse! Now these 2 beautiful long-haired kids can grow into beautiful cats together!!! Sweeet !!!!!
03/01/12: These beautiful, white, Angora-mix brothers are blue-eyed Portos and green-eyed Aramis and Atos. Aramis is just like Atos apart from 2 tiny, cute black dots on his nose! All 3 were found as tiny, sick, starving kittens sheltering under the dead body of their mother. You can see from the last photo just how bad they looked when Montse first rescued them, and it took her some months to get them healthy enough to start their vaccinations. Now all 3 are just 5 months old and are fit, healthy and completely beautiful. Portos is a little quieter than his 2 more playful brothers, and did quite a lot of great posing when I went over for a photo shoot of some of Montse’s cats. My plan is that he will travel to a foster home with a more gentle friend on the 13.01 transport, whilst his more playful brothers will travel to another foster home together. However there is a good chance that one or more of them may find an adoptant in the next 10 days. We are expecting them to be very popular.
